The 5-Step Process for Efficient Self-Hypnosis

The 5-Step Process for Efficient Self-Hypnosis

1. KEEP YOUR GOALS IN MIND

At this stage, you should be able to differentiate between form and substance, and think about what you desire vs. what you don't.

Because your subconscious mind screams "YES" to anything you focus on, it's more effective to shift your attention from things you don't want to things you do want. Imagine yourself in a state of excellent health if you wish to avoid disease; imagine yourself in an excess of resources if you wish to avoid scarcity; imagine yourself at peace if you wish to avoid tension; etc.

Instead of concentrating on the "essence" (the emotion they hope to feel), some people fixate on the "form" (the physical object). Think about the emotion you would have if you had your way if you could generate or attract anything into your life.
You can increase your choices by zeroing down on the "essence" of your desires.

You can open yourself up even further to attract what you wish if you have that emotion right now, and you could discover that there are many additional methods to do it.

Too often, we seek for specific things, only to find that they fail to provide the satisfaction we had hoped for. And even if the thing you had in mind does really provide you the intended sensation, this method may still reveal many other ways to enhance your life and unlock countless opportunities to experience that desired emotion even more frequently.

2. PRIVATELY OWNER IT

Once your desires are clear, picture yourself with them already. Using all of your senses to their fullest potential, enter a hypnotic trance state, and see yourself fully immersed in the state, object, or situation you desire. Another option is to mentally relive your life experiences, this time pretending that you've always had this quality, resource, or experience you desire.

The "depth" of hypnosis is all about letting go of your conscious mind and external awareness long enough to have your desired experience as a REALITY for you in the here and now.

Bear in mind that your subconscious does not differentiate between the external world, which you could see as "real," and your internal mental experiences. Everything that YOU perceive as real right this second is indeed real, according to your subconscious mind.

Step 3: Remove Any Obstacles

The process of effective self-hypnosis is comparable to sowing seeds. After you've settled on what you want to cultivate, all you have to do is sow the seeds of your desire by mentally and emotionally preparing yourself for the harvest. The plant has intelligence to carry out its function, so you don't need to worry about how it will develop. In case you come across any weeds, it is necessary for you to remove them.

Your uncertainties, worries, concerns, competing beliefs, etc., are like weeds that you need to pull out of the way before you can plant the seeds of your outcome in your subconscious mind. Forget about trying to achieve your goal if you truly believe it is impossible. It will not work.

If you feel like you can't possibly reach your goal in its current form, break it down into smaller, more manageable objectives. What other people have achieved is irrelevant. What counts most is your belief in your own abilities.
Though you may find motivation in the achievements of others, the question of whether you could achieve the same, less, or more rests only on your own self-belief and the steps you are prepared to take.

People often seek "proofs" and assurance from others, such as the opinions of those around them, when they are unsure of something's feasibility. However, this just serves to reinforce their underlying doubts; they still don't believe they can achieve their desired outcomes, so they typically don't.

When relying on your subconscious, it's wise to seek "proofs" in your own experiences and experiments.

With the power of your thoughts, you can acquire and make everything you can imagine. But if you want to succeed in spite of your personal limits, you need either boundless faith or, better yet, the knowledge that comes from researching the reasons why YOU CAN achieve your goals.

Now we reach another important point: the POWER OF DECISION. When you put your mind to something and remember how it felt, you can realize that you were laser-focused on the end goal, and that even though you were aware of potential roadblocks, they didn't stop you from achieving your conclusion. When you make up your mind to have an experience, you "cut yourself off" from other options and dedicate yourself to making it happen.

A poem by Goethe may already be known to you:

There is ineffectiveness, hesitancy, and the opportunity to retreat until one commits.

Ignorance of one basic truth about all actions of initiative destroys many ideas and plans: That providence moves too the moment one definitely commits.

When one needs assistance, all sorts of things happen that wouldn't have happened otherwise.
The decision sets in motion a chain reaction that benefits the individual in ways they could never have imagined, including opportunities for meetings, resources, and unexpected encounters.

Start doing what you can and dreaming big!
Genius, strength, and magic are all aspects of boldness.

4. Have faith and release

Building complete and utter faith in the intelligence and might of your own mind, the cosmos, God, or Higher Self (use the phrase that resonates with you) to manifest your desires can be a challenging and time-consuming process.

Sometimes, when you think about something, you forget about it entirely; you don't even consider if it will pass or not; the item you thought about then simply occurs. That's because you've let go on your own will; when you stopped thinking about it, your subconscious took control and brought that event into your life.

On the other hand, there are moments when you desire something so intensely that you can't let it go; nevertheless, you're also not letting it come to fruition.

Walking on a tightrope may be a metaphor for trusting when you really need something but aren't sure where it will come from. The more you do it, the easier it gets.

One way to overcome anxiety and stay motivated is to practice thankfulness. This means acknowledging and appreciating what you need and want as if you had already obtained it.

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again: practicing gratitude can help you achieve your goals far more quickly and overcome many of the challenges you'll face when attempting to achieve them through self-hypnosis.

There is a power and intelligence within you and all around you that can and will make all of your heart's desires come true. You can thank your subconscious mind, God, the universe, or any other name you want for this power and intelligence.

5. Acknowledge Success When It Occurs

What you desire may manifest in your life in a manner slightly different from your original vision at times. What you wished for has come true, and you must pay attention and give thanks.

While practicing self-hypnosis, it's possible that your wishes will come true in ways you couldn't have imagined.

The thing you desire may have nothing to do with what you ask for at times. It can simply be a notification that your request is being processed. Rather than giving up, focus on being grateful that your desire—or something even better—is on its way.

Additionally, you should reconsider your views, uncertainties, fears, insecurities, and any thoughts that you may have about not deserving, being too good for, or not wanting what you requested.

Keep in mind that your mental state determines the quality of your external experiences; hence, if you are unhappy with your current situation, you need just alter your perspective. If you have an optimistic outlook on life and consistently express gratitude to your mind and the universe (God) for blessing you with wonderful experiences, your experiences in the outside world will mirror this.

Realize that no matter what happens, it is always bringing you closer to your dreams.
